Professional Education Opportunities
The SPKF partners with other organizations to help provide you with continuing education opportunities. We encourage continued education for all Healthcare Providers and want to be able to provide you with other events that can help you in dealing with Chronic Kidney Disease.
These events are not provided by the SPKF, and may be located outside of the Lubbock and surrounding area.
UT Southwestern Kidney Transpant Symposium

9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
2026 UT Southwestern Kidney Transplant Symposium, a free educational event designed for nurses, social workers, and other health care professionals who provide pre- and post-transplant care for patients with kidney disease. This year's symposium will be held virtually via Zoom, with the added option to attend an in-person watch party in Tyler or Lubbock to network with colleagues while participating in the program. Continuing education units will be available for nurses and social workers.
