UT Southwestern Kidney Transpant Symposium
2026 UT Southwestern Kidney Transplant Symposium, a free educational event designed for nurses, social workers, and other health care professionals who provide pre- and post-transplant care for patients with kidney disease. This year's symposium will be held virtually via Zoom, with the added option to attend an in-person watch party in Tyler or Lubbock to network with colleagues while participating in the program. Continuing education units will be available for nurses and social workers.
The UT Southwestern Medical Center Kidney Transplant Program is one of the nation’s leading transplant programs, providing advanced care for patients with kidney disease. According to data from the Scientific Registry of Transplant Recipients, our one year renal graft survival rate exceeds 97%, including complex cases that many programs may not accept.
